Jeep India has unveiled a new special edition of its iconic off-roader, called the Wrangler Whitecap Mojito Edition, and pre-bookings are now open. The limited-run model brings a distinctive two-tone exterior theme, combining a bright Mojito Green body with a contrasting white roof and several retro-inspired styling details.
The special edition is based on the Wrangler and is expected to arrive in India soon. While Jeep has opened pre-bookings, the company has not yet announced the final price or the exact number of units planned for the Indian market.
Mojito Green Exterior With White Roof
The biggest visual change on the Jeep Wrangler Whitecap Mojito is its exclusive colour combination. The body is finished in the distinctive Mojito Green shade, while the hardtop receives a Bright White finish.
The white treatment also extends to the grille surround, creating a strong contrast with the green body. A horizontal side decal and heritage-inspired detailing further distinguish the special edition from the standard Wrangler.
The design takes inspiration from classic Jeep CJ models and is part of Jeep’s broader celebration of its 85-year heritage. The global Whitecap edition was introduced as one of Jeep’s limited-edition Wrangler releases under its Twelve 4 Twelve programme.

Retro Details Make the Wrangler Stand Out
The Whitecap Mojito edition gets several small exterior touches designed to give it a more distinctive identity. The side profile features a “1941” decal, referencing the year associated with the original Willys MB Jeep.
A white 4 Wheel Drive decal is also placed on the tailgate, while body-coloured fenders and the white roof add to the special-edition appearance.
These changes do not fundamentally alter the Wrangler’s familiar boxy silhouette, but they give the limited edition a more exclusive look compared with the regular versions.
Cabin Gets Exclusive Touches
The interior remains closely related to the standard Wrangler, but the Whitecap Mojito edition gets some additional details. The special edition is expected to feature a built-in dashcam and reinforced grab handles.
The regular Wrangler’s premium equipment includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, powered front seats, dual-zone climate control and a nine-speaker Alpine audio system with a subwoofer.
The model also offers modern safety and driver-assistance technology, including an ADAS package and six airbags.

Same Powerful 2.0-Litre Turbo-Petrol Engine
The Whitecap Mojito does not bring major mechanical changes. In the India-specification model, the Wrangler is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive.
The engine produces around 272hp and 400Nm in the Rubicon-based specification reported for the special edition.
This means the Whitecap Mojito retains the Wrangler’s familiar combination of turbocharged performance and dedicated 4×4 capability rather than focusing solely on cosmetic upgrades.
4×4 Capability Remains the Main Attraction
Despite its exclusive paint scheme, the Wrangler Whitecap Mojito remains an off-road-focused SUV. Its four-wheel-drive system allows it to tackle challenging terrain, while the Wrangler’s traditional design continues to prioritize ground clearance, approach angles and off-road ability.
The special edition is therefore more than a visual package. Buyers still get the core mechanical characteristics that make the Wrangler different from conventional premium SUVs.
Jeep Wrangler Whitecap Mojito Price Expected to Be Higher
Jeep has not officially announced the India price of the Whitecap Mojito edition yet. The regular Wrangler range in India currently includes the Unlimited and Rubicon versions, with the Rubicon positioned at the top of the lineup.
Reports suggest that the Whitecap Mojito could command a premium over the standard version because of its limited-edition status and exclusive exterior treatment. One report estimates a price in the region of ₹68 lakh to ₹70 lakh ex-showroom, but this should be treated as an expectation until Jeep confirms the official figure.
Pre-Bookings Are Now Open
The most important development for Indian buyers is that Jeep has already opened pre-bookings for the Whitecap Mojito edition.
However, Jeep India has not yet confirmed the final launch date, production volume or complete India-specific specification. The special edition is expected to be sold in limited numbers, making availability an important factor for interested customers.
A Special Edition Focused on Heritage
The Whitecap concept is closely linked to Jeep’s heritage. The white roof and contrasting body colour are inspired by classic civilian Jeeps, while the 1941 graphics reinforce the connection with the brand’s origins.
Jeep has used special editions extensively to give the Wrangler a more personalized identity without making major mechanical changes. The Whitecap Mojito follows the same formula with a distinctive appearance and limited availability.
Market Positioning
The Wrangler Whitecap Mojito will sit above the standard Wrangler variants as a more exclusive lifestyle-oriented version. Its main differentiation comes from the Mojito Green paint, white hardtop, heritage-inspired decals and additional cabin touches.
Unlike a conventional facelift, this edition is primarily about exclusivity and design while retaining the Wrangler’s existing 4×4 hardware and turbo-petrol powertrain.
AutoXRoom Verdict
The Jeep Wrangler Whitecap Mojito Edition brings a striking new identity to Jeep India’s iconic off-roader. The combination of Mojito Green paint, a white roof, heritage graphics and exclusive details makes it visually different from the standard Wrangler without changing its core mechanical character.
With pre-bookings now open, the remaining key details are the official price, launch date and final production numbers for India. As a limited edition, its appeal will largely come from its distinctive styling and exclusivity while retaining the Wrangler’s established four-wheel-drive capability.
